Career spans thirty years: from an academic, teaching and research in energy related studies to presently, energy specialist in energy sector planning, strategies and policy/ sustainable energy development. Specific experiences include but not limited to national bilateral & multilateral energy projects design, management and implementation; these include road map for the generation of electricity from different sources; Nigerian delegation to South Korea on Energy Technology and Project Management for Nigeria, 2006; Presidential Technical Fact Finding Team to Brazil on Cooperation on (Power and Energy), 2007; Assessment of Energy Policy and Practices, Nigeria National Committee-World Energy Council Project, Nigeria; Technical Committee for Nuclear Power Programme for Nigeria; National Energy Mission to Canada, 2009.

As a Multilateral cooperation expert worked in community intervention programmes with World Solar Programme (UNESCO/WSP); Africa-South America (ASA) Working Group on Infrastructure, Transportation and Energy; GEF Assisted Integrated Ecosystem Management Project; African-European Union Partnership on Energy, World Energy Council (WEC) Study Group on Energy Policy & Practices; country delegate to World Energy Council and Preparatory Commission for the founding and establishment of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA); Expert panel: On Review and Evaluation of Application for Renewable Energy Development Loan under the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) – Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) for 2016 Fourth Project Cycle; Advisory Committee: On Review and Evaluation of Application for Renewable Energy Development Loan under the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) – Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) for 7th Project Cycle, 2018.
